There are no disruptions or access problems to the Bistro from the Melbourne Metro works.

The route 58 tram travels directly past Bistro Gitan along Toorak Road West. The closest stop to the Bistro is Fawkner Park (stop 123). Alternatively, routes 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72 all stop at St Kilda Rd/Toorak Rd (stop 22) which is a 5 minute walk to the Bistro.

The closest train station is South Yarra. Exit the station and turn right onto Toorak Road. The Bistro is a 15 minute walk straight down Toorak Road.

Parking is available on Toorak Road West. This is a combination of unpaid 2 hour and paid all day parking. Further parking is available on the side streets surrounding the Bistro including Hope St and Millswyn St.
